Essie has launched a new collection called encrusted treasures, I work for a caviar company and we ended up being their supplier for their event. I received a gift bag of their entire collection and wanted to share some close up shots and some thoughts on the polishes.
At first glance obviously this is a beyond eye-catching collection! It is filled with sparkles and different textures, alike caviar. Belugaria which is the black shade with hints of rainbow glitter is my least favorite of the collection. Texture wise it basically looks like you have small bubbles or grainy sand underneath the polish; I understand they were trying to get a very similar look to caviar but it just didn't work for me. Peak of chic is also a very hard polish to perfect because of its stringy glitter. As far as the rest of collection I am completely satisfied.
It is the perfect collection for this time of year, the glitter is amazing and I cannot wait to wear one of these for New Year's. My favorite from this collection has to be: on a silver platter. It is gorgeous! I've never seen a polish like it.
