I've Got Sunshine...

Blouse: Zara (Old but another option here or here) / Shorts: Forever 21 (Similar) / Shoes: Asos / Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

I'm back from a much needed vacation! I took a trip to the west coast and got to explore San Francisco, Los Angeles and Vegas. I had such a good time but cramming all of those cities into one trip is very exhausting! You can see more photos of my trip on my instagram. I will be posting some of my outfit posts as well as a YouTube video on my trip later on this week, stay tuned!

Onto the point of this post... I took these photos right before I left for vacation and hadn't uploaded the photos to my laptop, hence the late post! As you all know I love wearing all black but that can tend to be a bit suffocating under New York City's blazing sun and humidity so adding items with some lighter tones and a bit of lace can definitely help. The cut of this shirt has a more masculine shape to it but with the floral print and peek of lace it screams feminine. I added some loose fitted shorts and basic black sandals with some of my go to accessories and was out the door. One more detail is that all accents on this outfit are black and gold which makes the look appear more put together. This is such an easy look, I'm sure I'll be wearing it again and again.

The summer isn't long enough so enjoy every bit of sunshine.

CHERRY BLOSSOMS X IMATS OOTD

Cropped Jacket: H&M / Top: Forever 21 / Pants: Forever 21 (Recent purchase but similar here) / Shoes: H&M / Sunglasses: Tom Ford / Purse: 3.1 Phillip Lim Medium Pashli / Necklace: House of Harlow

On Sunday I went to IMATS, I had an amazing time! I went a little overboard with the shopping - haul coming soon and I also got to see some crazy makeup artistry and also some fellow youtubers. All in all it was a great experience and I definitely would go again.

I ended up going with these wide legged cherry blossom pants and all black for the rest of the outfit. I wanted the pants to speak for themselves. This outfit would have went well with all white accessories but I worked with what I had and loved the end result especially with a pop of coral on my lips.

More photos and a video on IMATS to come...

BLACK & WHITE

Moto Jacket: NastyGal / Sheer Tank: Forever 21 / Pants: H&M (Old - Similar here or here) / Shoes: Zara / Sunglasses: Zara (Similar) / Purse: 3.1 Phillip Lim Medium Satchel

Sheeesh! We experienced such gorgeous weather this weekend. Please keep it coming! I definitely took advantage and spent all weekend outside. On Saturday I went to Smorgasburg in Williamsburg, they had over 100 food vendors selling all different types of food and desserts and they had a bar. I went with my brother and sister and we had a great time; if you want to see more photos of what I did this weekend please check out my instagram: @closetfullofdaisies --

I honestly just wanted to wear an outfit that had very light fabrics but nothing colorful. So I went for my staple color scheme of course black and white. I've had these pants for years and I love them so much, I decided to pair them with a basic sheer cropped tank and my new Zara heels. As per usual I had on my trusty motorcycle jacket but I was so hot I ended up taking my jacket off for most of the day. These Zara sunglasses just added a warmer color to the outfit.

Later this week I will be posting what I wore for IMATS and what I hauled. Stay tuned!

Until next time xx,
Daisy

RED ACCENTS + MBFW: CONCEPT KOREA

Coat / Blazer (Similar) / Blouse (Similar) / Leather Pants: All H&M | Shoes: Zara (Similar) | Sunglasses: Tom Ford | Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim
(Designer: Choi Boko)

Well it has been such a busy week between work, fashion week and this weather! I last updated you guys on the Rebecca Vallance show I went to last Friday and I was supposed to attend the Meskita show but couldn't attend due to the weather.

I did get invited by Mercedes Benz to any shows of my liking that we're available, Naeem Khan was the one I had chosen as well as Meskita, unfortunately I tried to make it but work kept me a little longer than expected and I missed the show. Luckily they accommodated me and I was able to see the Concept Korea F/W 14 show and I am so glad I got to see it. The pieces were all so amazing and different. The photos in this post are my favorites pieces from the show. The oversized brim hat looked phenomenal and the menswear was impeccable. I also got a chance to see one of the designers, Choi Boko in the private lounge afterwards! I had a great time and am so grateful that I received this opportunity.

Until next time...

CASUAL DAIS.

Moto-Jacket: NastyGal | T-Shirt: Zara | Jeans: Zara (similar) | Sneakers: Nike Free Run 5.0
Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim | Sunglasses: Ray Ban

Casual days are the best days! I wear jeans quite frequently but none this comfortable, I scored these in a recent clothing haul and I love them. Threw on a graphic tee some sneakers that are also a recent buy. This is my go to for a day of running errands...

What do you wear on your lazy days?

NON-FESTIVE ATTIRE

Leather Jacket: Helmut Lang
Dress: H&M
Boots: Forever 21
Purse: Vintage Fendi (Similar)

It has been a very hectic week! I've been spending time with family and friends, enjoying the holidays and working (womp! womp!). This is what I wore out on Christmas day, my family and I open presents in the morning and then go about visiting the rest of my family throughout the day. I couldn't be any more blessed -- I had a great Christmas and I am so thankful for everything I have. This year has gone by so quickly I can't believe we are a few days away from a new year!

..Before I continue rambling on about New Years (that will be an upcoming post) lets talk about what I wore on Christmas. I kept it very casual and surprisingly not very festive. I've had this blouse since the launch a few months back and decided to throw it on as a dress, I'm only 4'11 so it works! I put a nude dress under it to cover up a bit and threw on my current favorite over the knee boots. I haven't took my vintage Fendi bag out in a while but I thought it was very fitting with the outfit, and of course I wore a leather jacket.

I hope you all are enjoying the holidays with the people you love!

BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK

Jacket: NastyGal
Sweater: H&M
Skort: Zara
Socks: Forever 21 (Similar)
Shoes: Forever 21
Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target
Sunglasses: Schwood

I've been trying to put together so much festive attire that I've been forgetting my more favorable style which is all black. I can live in black! And nothing is better than a black moto jacket. I have so many leather or faux leather jackets, it is seriously ridiculous but I didn't have a motorcycle style jacket... until I found this one on sale for black friday. I am obsessed with it and got to wear it on the warmest day of December, it was 70 degrees that day. Sadly we are back to around 20 degrees here in New York so I probably won't be getting much more use out of this until March -- I can't wait.

I kept the rest of the outfit very casual yet edgy, and added the socks for a little surprise. Sometimes the best thing to do when putting together an outfit is to use basic monochromatic pieces and use your accessories to add interest. Like a bold lip, patterned socks and some cool sunnies.

Happy Holidays!
