Keepin' it Casual

Sweater: Zara (Similar) / Shorts: H&M / Purse: Louis Vuitton Siracusa GM (This size is no longer available online but MM version here) / Shoes: Target (Old but similar here) / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Some days I honestly just love to throw on some neutral basics and call it a day. Summer is all about easy breezy so why not keep things simple. This type of attire reminds me of Jennifer Aniston's style, she always looks so effortless and it works so well for her.

Keeping things short and sweet...

Too Much Skin?

Crop Top: Vintage  (Similar)/ Denim Shorts: Forever 21 / Shoes: Aldo (Old) / Purse: Louis Vuitton Alma /
Sunglasses: Forever 21 (Similar)

The hotter the better... the weather that is. With NYC hitting its highs I have been resorting to crop tops and short shorts! I personally never really like to show too much skin all at once but I stepped out of my comfort zone a little bit and wore a skimpier outfit than I'm used to. I definitely wasn't comfortable showing my complete stomach especially since I would like it to be a bit more toned and I would have preferred a more high wasted short but I'm glad I took a bit of a risk. I'm young and probably won't be any more comfortable wearing this as I get older. Sometimes you just have to let go and take a risk when it comes to fashion or all matters of life.

What outfit have you worn that made you feel uneasy?

FLORALS

Blazer: H&M (Similar) / Sweater: Forever 21 / Pants: Zara (Similar) / Shoes: Zara (Similar) /

Everytime Spring rolls around florals become the seasons trend. I'm not a huge fan of too much floral but I wanted to show you how to take this trend and make it look very classic. If you've followed my blog for a while you know how minimalistic I can be, with that being said I don't want my outfits to be so boring either. Florals can easily be overdone but I think if you balance it out with neutral pieces then you can make it work. I paired these pants with a white cropped knit and a nude blazer, to add some color I added my blue shoes which brought out some of the blue tones in my pants. As for my bag, this Louis Vuitton alma bag has been in my collection for years and I tend to bring it out again once Spring comes.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend.

TRENCH

Trench: Zara | Chambray Shirt: H&M | Jeans: H&M | Shoes: Zara | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Purse: Louis Vuitton Alma

I'm back! I've missed posting here regularly so much. Now that my apartment is finally coming together I can get back into my blog and youtube channel. If you follow me on twitter you'd know how much I've been complaining about not being able to update this. Finally I can do what I love. . .

New York has been all over the place lately which does not help when trying to dress weather appropriate; one day it's 60 degrees and the next were down to 20. Such a tease! Anyway this weekend I stepped out of my apartment and went out for a friends going away party, it was a very casual setting but I needed to throw on my pumps -- I missed my heels!
Otherwise I kept it very casual with denim on denim and a trench. I loved the way this look turned out. I think the red heels give the look something extra.

Oh and side note: I went lighter in hair color and chopped off a few inches. I love it! These photos don't do my hair any justice as it was windy and photographed the color badly but you'll see some better photos soon.

Enjoy the rest of your week
