What a beautiful weekend it's been! I think summer has made a comeback... It was just last weekend I had on a leather jacket and today I had on shorts. I can't complain, as excited as I am for falls arrival; summer is still my favorite season. 

Anyway today I went out for brunch at a spot called Lodge in Brooklyn. The food was great but the portion sizes were huge!

I had the french toast with berries, delish.

IS PEPLUM STILL IN?

Peplum is one trend I followed from the start. It gives you a illusion of a smaller waist and adds a touch of femininity to an outfit. Even though this trend might be a bit over, I've had this shirt for quite some time and never broke it out so this was my opportunity. I love the combination of a bright color with crisp white for the summer. Plus it makes my tan stand out even more!

SPRING OOTD

My floral blazer is becoming a serious favorite of mine. This gorgeous piece makes any dull or basic outfit look amazing. The weather has been slowly progressing into the high 80's and I couldn't be happier! We've had an extremely long and brutal winter in NYC and I am glad it's over.

THE [RED] BOTTOM LINE...

Recently I purchased this bag from Zara and it's shape gives off a more sophisticated vibe which inspired this look I wore earlier this week. It's my twist on business attire, obviously a little more on the casual side.
