REAL OR STEAL: SWIMWEAR
T By Alexander Wang clothing / Melissa Odabash one piece swimsuit / Topshop bikini swimwear / Lisa Marie Fernandez bikini swimwear / Milly bikini swimwear / H M bikini swimwear, $22 / River Island bikini swimwear, $20 / H M bikini, $13 / River Island bikini swimwear, $27 / H M bikini swimwear, $12 / H M swim top, $22
Now that beaches are open we can finally slip into a bikini and enjoy some sun! I have been shopping lately for some swimwear and thought it might be a good idea to show you some options that I am coveting and how you can also get similar swimsuits for a steal. I honestly don't like to spend much on swimsuits as I like to have more variety.
1. Lisa Marie Fernandez neoprene bikini: This swimsuit is gorgeous but runs about $325 and I think that this H&M option is a bit more flattering yet has a similar style. I prefer straps on my bikini due to having a broader back. The detailing on the H&M one gives the swimsuit the same feel as the neoprene one.
2. Melissa Obadash ruched swimsuit is so classic, it actually has a detachable halter stap and has the ability to adjust the ruches to cover your hips - very Marilyn Monroe. The price of this swimsuit is $290, although it is stunning I did find a similar option that can give you the same look at Topshop for $72.
3. Alexander Wang's striped bathing suit is so cute! The stripes start and end at the most flattering areas making your waist appear slimmer. I didn't find an exact dupe for this one but I think this H&M swimsuit is perfect. The stripes go in different directions on the bra but continue to go horizontally on the bottom and because this is a 2 piece it allows you to show off your waist.
4. Triangl has made a huge splash in this years swimwear collections and have gorgeous options at a reasonable price around $89 however I was able to find an even cheaper alternative that is almost identical. This River Island option has a bit of a lighter mint color but the same structure and is only $47.
I hope I helped any of you that are looking for the perfect swimsuit but don't want to break the bank.

Wedding Guest Attire
AQ AQ blue dress, $280 / Topshop red shirt / Oh My Love long sleeve romper, $65 / H M knee length skirt, $50 / Giuseppe Zanotti white leather shoes / Zara leather shoes / Valentino leather pumps / Chanel purse / Kate spade handbag / Evening jewelry / Yves Saint Laurent makeup / Essie nail polish
Since wedding season seems to be commencing I thought it might be a good idea to share some looks with you all and help with what to wear. I put together three options all very different yet stylish. I for one have a few weddings to attend myself and it's helpful to know what style is best whether it be casual/semi-formal or black tie.
Look 1: Black Tie
This dress is fantastic for a much dressier occasion, the length is very fitting to the season and accentuates a lot of flattering areas without showing too much. I chose these Valentino shoes because of the amount of detail they have, the studs add some embellishment without being too overbearing. You don't have to go out and buy a $700 pair of shoes but the style of the shoe is definitely something to look for with this style dress.
Look 2: Semi-Formal
This two piece look can be very demure yet sexy. If you add a blazer to this it will give it a more casual feel. I love mixing textures; the lace skirt with the satin top looks perfection. I always like to add a basic strapped shoe to elongate the legs.
Look 3: Cocktail Attire
Lastly this long sleeved jumpsuit/romper is a very playful outfit. It is perfect for a warm weather wedding. The print gives the outfit a little something extra. I paired it with a white classic bag and shoe to make it look well put together.
I hope this may have helped some of you that have an upcoming wedding to attend.
xx, Daisy

Warm Weather Wish List
Zara crop top / Monki white shirt, $34 / Coach leather jacket / Elizabeth and James skirt, $405 / One Teaspoon denim shorts, $125 / Zara shoes / Topshop strappy sandals / Rebecca Minkoff satchel handbag / Michael Kors watch / Brixton floppy hat / Alexander Wang sunglasses, $265 / Chloé chloe perfume
Now that it's getting a little warmer around here I can begin lusting over Spring and Summer items and not feel like I'm rushing over to the next season. Most of these are realistic items I can easily purchase and so can you! I chose more financial friendly items because lets face it, how often do we create wish lists for ourselves and can barely purchase one item off that list.
On another note, I created these two looks that are very minimalistic yet very chic. I added a white leather jacket so that you can pair it with both looks, I love my black leather too much that I couldn't go through another season without one of my staples. I am currently drooling over the Givenchy antigona bag but this one from Rebecca Minkoff is very similar and way more realistic to my current budget especially after all of my recent home decor purchases. All the other accessories are very basic items but add to the looks and make them feel even more weather appropriate.
Just sharing -- hope you find some items that you can add to your wish list!
Until next time.

Holiday Style Guide
Red cocktail dress / Zara spaghetti strap cocktail dress / Topshop crop shirt, $66 / Coast flared skirt, $97 / Zara kohl shoes / Zara pointy toe pumps / Zara red ankle boots / Zara multi colored purse / Zara stone necklace / Christmas home decor
It can be very difficult to find the perfect outfit for the holidays! Here is some inspiration or options for you... All of these pieces are currently readily available for purchase and each piece is at a very reasonable price.
The first look is a vibrant red dress with sequins, it has a very low neckline that makes it even more sexy! If you have somewhere really nice to go then I would definitely recommend this dress. Throw on some black pumps that you probably already own, some hoop earrings; grab your clutch and you are good to go.
The second look is a play on the infamous Carrie Bradshaw outfit. The skirt basically makes this outfit which is why I downplayed the rest of it. The crop top allows you to break up the busy fabric of the skirt. Don't forget to bring some ankle strap pointed heels.

Lastly this lace dress is definitely a current trend. I love this look because it is very unexpected, a year ago it would have looked like you forgot to put on the rest of your outfit but right now the bedroom-nighty look is in! This little black dress with the unexpected red pumps looks impeccable. Add a statement necklace to give the outfit a little more dimension.
I would definitely throw on a leather motor cycle jacket with all of these looks. Which is your favorite look?

Perfectly Plaid
Blaazer: H&M (here) / Chambray Shirt: H&M (here) / Pants: H&M (here) / Shoes: Sam Edelman (here) / Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli (here) / Watch: Michael Kors / Pin: Vintage Chanel (similar here) / Midi Rings: Forever 21 (similar here) / Sunglasses: Prada (here) / Chain Necklace: Forever 21 / Lipstick: MAC Media (here)
These plaid pants are a purchase I made a year or two ago from h&m, I thought they would be work appropriate so I bought them; and basically never wore them. For some reason they just ended up sitting in the back of my closet -- until now! I honestly don't know why I never styled these, these pants are so cute and styled the right way they can be very chic. I paired it with some more neutral accessories but used the chambray shirt to give the look a more casual feel and added gold jewelry to make the outfit pop a little. Plaid has to be one of my favorite trends of the season!
What's your favorite fall fashion trend?

| Beautiful necklace I purchased from Capwell + co |
Club Monaco Jacket / H&M Scarf & Leather Pants / Lush Tank / Windsor Necklace / 3.1 Phillip Lim Medium Pashli / Nine West Shoes
This Sunday I went to the Simply Stylist event which was a fashion and beauty conference at the Park Central hotel. It was an amazing event that I am so glad I got a chance to attend. There was an incredible list of speakers -- my favorites had to be Jay Manuel, Danielle from weworewhat.com, Jacey from damselindior.com. We got a chance to mingle with fellow bloggers and different companies as well as shop. It was an altogether great learning experience and cannot wait to sign up for any other conferences that might be coming up.

BARE LEGS & BOOTIES
Top: Forever 21 / Skirt: H&M / Shoes: Steve Madden / Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim Med. Pashli / Watch: Michael Kors
A pair of cute booties can be difficult to find, depending on the shape of your legs; sometimes they can cut you off and make your legs appear shorter than they are. The ones I'm wearing are a bit chunky toward the bottom but get smaller toward the top and this look really elongates my legs. These booties have an extra platform and even though the platform shoe may be going out of style, you shouldn't always base your clothing on current trends.. try to find items that flatter your shape. I'm only 4'11 so it's hard to find ways to make myself look taller but wearing some platformed booties and showing off my legs was a good way to give me a few more inches.

STEPPING OUT
Wearing cheetah is definitely not my style, but I could not pass up this blazer from the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection. The fact that the print is spread out I guess appealed to me more, and its not your typical cheetah print. I decided because the piece itself has so much color then why not balance it by having the rest of my outfit be in neutral tones. The quote "Too much of anything is bad --" (Mark Twain) comes to mind. You don't want to go overboard, most of the time it can come across tacky. Keep it simple.
Outfit Details:
3.1 Phillip Lim Blazer - sold out at Target
T-shirt and Jeans - H&M
Shoemint Shoes (last year) - similar here
Michael Kors Watch - similar here
Vintage Gold Chain
PS: It's been getting late so much earlier, it was only like 6pm; so yes I was still wearing sunglasses...

SATURDAAAZE
What a beautiful weekend it's been! I think summer has made a comeback... It was just last weekend I had on a leather jacket and today I had on shorts. I can't complain, as excited as I am for falls arrival; summer is still my favorite season.
Anyway today I went out for brunch at a spot called Lodge in Brooklyn. The food was great but the portion sizes were huge!

3.1 PHILLIP LIM FOR TARGET
As you all know 3.1 Phillip Lim collaborated with Target and made an amazing Fall collection. I came across the collection about two months ago while looking through InStyle magazine. I already own my beloved Pashli bag which you can see how I style in earlier posts, and because they were launching this collection - bags included and at a much more reasonable price then their normal collection; there was no way I was going to miss this!
I waited and waited online on September 15th at midnight for the collection to launch on Target's website but to my surprise nothing was available so I kept refreshing and nothing... So I actually was going out for drink with a few friends that night and decided to just wait it out until morning and go to the store. I got home at around 3:30am and began browsing the Target website and saw that everything was finally up. I began to quickly look through the bags first and I had wanted the mini satchel in mustard, that seemed to be the most coveted item because it was already sold out, I grabbed that same bag in black and then kept looking around for other items I wanted. When I checked out the black bag was gone and I was left with everything else I had ordered.
Isn't she a beaute!
This is the bag I was most excited to receive. It wasn't the one I was going crazy over but I actually think I like the look of it better.

FALL FASHION INSPIRATION
LPD NEW YORK t shirt / Black biker jacket, $1,230 / J.W. Anderson short mini skirt / Influence ruched maxi skirt, $16 / Yves Saint Laurent ankle booties / Zara black heel boots / Givenchy clutch / Givenchy necklace / Alexander McQueen bangle / Purple glasses / MCM home decor
Maybe this might inspire you to pick up a few pieces that you normally wouldn't...
A lot of these things are on my wish-list but some of these items I have very similar pieces in my closet. I love very basic colors for fall like black and white but a pop of color on your bag, lips or even your nails can make an outfit a little more interesting and eye-catching. It seems like my wardrobe is becoming edgier, I've always loved edgier pieces but I feel like more masculine pieces are becoming woman-friendly and it's exciting to take these type of looks into the colder months.
Maybe this might inspire you to pick up a few pieces that you normally wouldn't...

WARDROBE REHAB!
My closet just went through a major overhaul! I got rid of tons of clothes and shoes that haven't been worn in a long time along with items pieces that feel outdated.
Look at this mess!
Look at this mess!
A few tips for cleaning out your closet:
1. If you haven't worn it for at-least 6-8 months get rid of it because more than likely you will never wear it.
2. Less is more...
- Spend more on basics because those will be in your wardrobe longer.
- Spend less on trendier items, once that season is over it will be sitting in your closet taking up space.
3. Organize by color or category.
- I tend to organize by both:
Categorized by clothing item (shirts, jackets, etc.) in one section and color coordinated, it looks prettier.
4. Donate! Someone out there needs that jacket you haven't worn more than you.
5. If it's not flattering on you either take it to the seamstress or give it away.
Here's an after of my closet...
[closet: ikea & shoe racks: target]
We are coming into another season soon and you are going to be purchasing new shoes and clothes, might as well do some cleaning out and make room for the items to come!
