This Sunday I went to the Simply Stylist event which was a fashion and beauty conference at the Park Central hotel. It was an amazing event that I am so glad I got a chance to attend. There was an incredible list of speakers -- my favorites had to be Jay Manuel, Danielle from weworewhat.com, Jacey from damselindior.com. We got a chance to mingle with fellow bloggers and different companies as well as shop. It was an altogether great learning experience and cannot wait to sign up for any other conferences that might be coming up.

STARTED OFF THE WEEK IN BROOKLYN

This week Jay-Z was performing at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. I had my tickets and Brooklyn Nets fitted all ready to go to the show. It was amazing, the place was seriously packed and I had gone on Monday October 1st. I could only imagine how opening night or over the course of the weekend had been. If you can still get your hands on some tickets for this weeks concert I would highly recommend going...
